This is Coconut after he had to have one ear removed because of cancer.

Singing Dog Ranch is home to Coconut the cat.  He came to us from the Santa Barbara Animal Shelter when he was only a week old.  His mother and 7 siblings were fostered with us, and when the kittens were old enough to be adopted they all left...except for Coconut.  At the time, we had one other resident cat, Conway Kitty.  Conway also came from the shelter, and for the previous year had been afraid to come into the house.  But his love for Coconut helped him overcome his fear.  He finally came into the house and made himself at home.  Then he ate the parakeets.  Oh well, nobody's perfect! We lost Conway to lymphoma in early 2004.  Coconut misses him terribly.
